I became an early childhood teacher because I love helping young children learn, grow, and discover joy in the world around them.
But sometimes, there simply aren't enough hours in a day.
Between planning lessons, answering emails, arranging centers, and prepping materials, there's no space for anything else.
Sound familiar??
What if music could actually make your day easier instead of giving you one more thing to plan?
Music can help bring predictability to your classroom routines.
A song can turn a difficult transition into something children look forward to.
A movement activity can help children get their wiggles out.
A familiar song can help bring a noisy group back together.
A musical game can turn practice and repetition into something children actually want to do.
And sometimes, singing together is simply the thing that changes the mood of the entire room.
The Music Resource Library is a growing library of ready-to-use music resources created specifically for early childhood educators.
Instead of spending your evenings
searching for songs,
piecing together activities,
or wondering what to do next,
you'll have engaging music experiences ready when you need them.
Think about how often you use music in your classroom.
If one song helps you get through a transition more smoothly...
If one activity gives you 10 minutes of joyful, purposeful learning...
If one ready-to-use lesson plan saves you an hour of planning...
If music helps you connect with a child who wasn't participating...
That's more than just a song.
That's a tool you can use again and again.

Engaging songs, movement activities, musical games, and lessons created with young children in mind.

Use music to support transitions, movement, listening, participation, language, social-emotional learning, and joyful classroom routines.
Maybe you've looked at other memberships before and thought:
"That looks amazing...but when would I ever have time to use this?"
I get it.
The Music Resource Library isn't designed to give you another giant resource library that sits untouched on your computer.
It's designed to help you actually use music.
You can start with one song.
One activity.
One transition.
One musical moment in your day.
As you become comfortable, you can explore more.
You don't have to use everything.
You don't have to keep up.
And you don't have to plan an elaborate music lesson every day.
Just choose what works for your classroom right now.
You don't need to transform your entire teaching routine overnight. Start small.
Add one song to your morning routine.
Use music during a transition.
Try a movement activity.
Sing while you clean up.
Then watch what happens.
Children begin anticipating the songs. Transitions become more playful. Learning becomes more active.
That's the kind of teaching the Music Resource Library is here to support.
"Thank you so much for all that you have pulled together! It’s amazing and so helpful! I am enjoying some new songs!"

I have been making music with young children for over 30 years., holding dual teaching certifications in K-12 music and Elementary Education K-5.
I have taught music outreach programs in preschools and day care centers, as well as conservatory-based music programs for infants up through fourth grade. I have authored the music curriculum for two early childhood programs, spanning 2 months through Kindergarten.
I still actively teach in multiple preschools and daycare centers, working with nearly 300 students and 75 teachers each year.

The content in the Music Resource Library is designed primarily for children age 6 and under, but the songs and activities are flexible enough that they can be adapted to students of other ages or learning abilities.
Absolutely not! The included resources are designed for all types of teachers who work with young children, including classroom teachers, SLPs, OTs, SPED teachers, therapists, and of course, music teachers! The materials are easily accessible by both non-musicians and musicians alike.
